If you are employed or self-employed you can qualify for PRSI treatment benefit which means you could benefit from a free eye test and glasses.
How?
Simply give us your PPS number and we can check if you are eligible for a free eye test and money off your new glasses.

If you have a medical card and qualify under the Medical Card scheme your eye test will be completely free.
How?
You just need to complete an application form which we will send to the HSE for authorisation. Once you get your form back from the HSE you can book your free eye test.
Terms and conditions
PRSI and medical card cover is subject to eligibility. Additional lenses and glasses not covered by the Department of Social Protection will cost extra. Also excludes OCT scans and eye tests for VDU use, safety glasses, driving license tests and emergency care.
